Texas A&M University Press says Hillingdon Ranch: Four Seasons, Six Generations, is “a beautifully photographed portrait of a ranching family and their life in the Texas Hill Country. Hillingdon Ranch chronicles how one family has worked together over many years to keep their ranch intact. In learning about the family’s successes and challenges, readers will gain a greater appreciation of what the Giles family’s efforts mean to the rest of us: food, fiber, clean air, wildlife, healthy land, peace and quiet, and, perhaps most important of all, clean and plentiful water.”

- All pictures in Hillingdon Ranch: Four Seasons, Six Generations are for sale whether they are listed below or not. To order a picture not featured below, email David the page number of the picture or take a picture of the photo – contact David here.
- All sizes are paper sizes. The actual image will be slightly smaller, with a small white border on both sides and the top. A somewhat larger white border will be at the bottom, and will contain the title, signature, and print number.
- Larger sizes may be available. Please contact David for information and prices.
- Standard ground shipping costs and all applicable sales taxes are included in the price of each print.
- Matting and framing services are not offered.
- Fine art prints are usually printed digitally on very archival (i.e. long lasting) photographic papers. David’s original transparencies or negatives are digitally scanned at extremely high resolutions. Dust spots and other flaws are removed, contrast and brightness are adjusted as necessary, and then the images are printed for final presentation. Each and every print is carefully handled and inspected by David, personally, to assure the quality of every order.
- After each print meets my approval, it will be titled, signed and numbered, also by David personally. If the print is of exceptional quality, it will receive artist proof status. And instead of a number, those prints will receive my signature followed by the “a/p” designation. Artist proofs are random, and will be sent at no additional charge.
- Please allow 4-6 weeks for each print to be produced, inspected, signed, and shipped. David has no inventory, except at a few selected galleries. Each print ordered from this website is individually and specially produced for each and every customer. Therefore, it takes some time to make sure everything is as good as it can be, for each order.
